The City of Stockbridge welcomes international company HEGLA to its expanding business community. HEGLA, an international German based corporation, chose Stockbridge as the site of its next manufacturing plant. HEGLA's move to Stockbridge makes it the first international company to locate to the growing community, considered by many to be the gateway to Henry County.

Henry County is the proud home of Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). Located on 887 acres, AMS is one of the country's top sports, corporate, family and entertainment facilities. AMS is also the center of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series world once a year with the Folds of Honor Quicktrip 500. When not hosting NASCAR races, the track is home to other special events with thousands of visitors including the Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama and the Georgia State Fair.

Georgia Manufacturing Appreciation Week (MAW) is April 15-18, 2019! MAW was developed by the Technical College System of Georgia and the Georgia Department of Economic Development to celebrate the achievements of Georgia manufacturers. 

Whether it’s spicing up the backyard BBQ with Ken’s BBQ sauce, sprucing up our homes with a little BEHR paint, or sporting Luxottica's premium, luxury and sports eyewear, many Henry County residents are unaware that they are routinely using “Made in Henry” products. The Henry County Development Authority will be spotlighting “Made in Henry” products and the companies that have manufacturing facilities in our community during MAW.

Korean Brake Manufacturer to Locate U.S. Headquarters in Henry County

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Sangsin Technology America, a leading global brake friction materials and replacement parts manufacturer, will create 200 jobs and invest $20 million in its first North American manufacturing facility in McDonough, Georgia. Governor Kemp stopped by Sangsin’s booth at the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition (TMC 2019) at the Georgia World Congress Center today to celebrate the news.

We're proud to have global companies like Luxottica and Alpla innovating and growing right here in Henry. When the Austrian plastics manufacturer Alpla originally located in Henry County in 2001, the facility was designed as a manufacturing plant, but has grown to become the company’s North American headquarters and Technical Center. Luxottica Group, a leading eyewear designer, manufacturer and distributor, recently created 1,000 jobs with the expansion of its North American location in Henry County.
